Process Journal #2

The stage I am at is creating my product. I have accomplish the planning part and gathering information during this week. The steps I have taken was to plan it and gather my information before I created my product. The challenges I cam across was choosing a good image and background but I have overcome that challenege by choosing an image with my artist wearing a suit and having my backgorund plain. My next goal is to finish my final product.

Process Journal #4

I think the most important part of the design cycle is planning and create because it helps you organize what you need to have and where you would put everything. The create part is important because you have to create the product after the planning. I think the planning and creating are most likely to be repeated because everytime you do a new part of the product you have to plan your ideas and know what you are going to do then create it and see how it came out. I used problem solving to help me point out things that didn't belong on the Cd cover or the project.

Process Journal #5

I was able to communicate my ideas in the process journal by using the colors i used, image, and the title. I think I was successful because my Cd Cover came out nice and it went good with my genre. The key terms and object of the project was to attract your audience to bu your Cd based on your cover. I think my concept was received well and I was able to determine that based on the feedback I got from my evaluation.

Process Journel 3

The puropose of evaluating a product is to see what people think of your product and does it match the requirements you had for your product and the research you did. The people that will be involved in my evaluation is R&B fans, Wiz Khalifa fans, and the age group from 15-35. Possible changes I will make depending on results is the title or the album cover picture. I will determine if I have conducted a good evaluation if all my questions answer how my album cover looks and what it makes people think about it when they see it .

1.              What is the task?

The design task is to make a album CD cober insert for the artirst Wiz khalifa

2.              What is the problem? How can we create a… that will… ?

The problem is how can make a CD cover that will best fit the artist and make his fans buy the CD based off the album cover.

3.              Are we offering a product, a solution, or both?

We are offering a product which is a CD cover. We are offering a solution by helping Wiz Khalifa get more fans and more people to buy his album, so we are offering both.

4.              How will we attract our target audience?

We will attract our audience by putting things on the alum cover that they like. We have to target a age group and based on that age group and our data, put things together that will make them  want to buy it.

5.              What does our target audience want to see?

Our audience want to see romantic stuff since the genre my artist sings is R&B.

6. What age group are you targeting?

The age group I am targeting is ages 14-35

7. What can be one problem that can occur during this research?

One problem that can occur is putting wrong things on the cover like Wiz Khalifa doing illegal things on the cover.

8. How can your research help you with this project?

My research could help me because it can show me things I could put on the alum cover and things I should not based on my research. So research plays a big part in this project.

9. What are things you could add to cover other than an image of your artist?

Things I could add is a background of Wiz Khlaifa and his girl or a roses behind him.

 

10. What type of image would you get of your artist?

I would get an image of Wiz Khalifa wearing a suit or a picture of him and his girlfriend.
